In the mornings, as I wait for my brain to wake up after its half hour marination in bus fumes, I sip my cup of Demon Joe and ask the world "Okay, how much fuzzier and more gloopy did the spoiled peach we call a world become overnight?" Part of this mundane ritual involves checking out the editorial cartoons collected on Slate-dot-com. After Chuck Asay, easily the most annoying part of this is dealing with foreign cartoonists.I don't expect my sense of humour to jibe with that of foreigners. But why or why can't foreign cartoonists even DRAW? I mean, compared with these guys, Ted Rall is frickin' Rembrandt.
