I took the latest "drawing jam" competition over at TheDrawingBoard as an opportunity to take another step down the road towards creating movie poster art a la Drew Struzan and Richard Amsel. Unfortunately, I've been foundering for a week. The techniques of layering on colour elude me. The basic sketch remains a basic sketch. Back to the drawing boar... er, tablet.
